CHAIR OF THE FLORIDA DEMOCRATIC PARTY Why are there are 800,000 more Democratic Voters in the State than Republicans?
(Chairwoman Thurman has FOCUSED on registering Democratic voters statewide.) On Feb. 23, 2010, Janet Cruz held onto the Democratic seat in Tampa after VA, NJ, and MA voted Republican when incumbent Democrats were challenged? Why?
(Chairwoman Thurman WORKS WITH the Florida Democratic House and Senate party to help find and support candidates to win with resources of staff and consultants from her office.) Florida went Democratic in 2008. Why?
(Chairwoman Thurman hires top staff and runs the Party like a BUSINESS with incentives and goals for each member of the team. When Obama decided to deploy more resources to Florida, he hired away most of Chairwoman Thurman's staff for his campaign. Did she complain? No, she went out and hired more excellent staff and kept pushing for State victories.) 1.7 million Democrats voted in the 2008 primary when the DNC and all political pundits said: Florida, your vote won't count.
(Chairwoman Thurman had the VISION to run a state wide campaign: Make it Count, and got out the voters. Our new Democratic majority is partially due to this strong effort then.) Do you know why Republican House Party Leader Sansom resigned?
(Chairwoman Thurman ran a COMMUNICATIONS plan that daily uncovered fraud in Sansom's state office and told the media, until the only option left was for him to resign.) Do you know why the Florida Democrats have out raised the Republicans this year?
(Chairwoman Thurman is a TIRELESS FUNDRAISER with a staff that supports her efforts and relationships as she travels statewide.) Do you know why the Republican Party Chair in Naples resigned?
(Chairwoman Thurman seized on the financial malfeasance of Republican State Party Chair Greer and uncovered fraud at the highest levels down to the local levels. Suddenly being a Republican Chairperson was a liability instead of an honor.)
